Belly Boom, it's my baby. My name is Sophie Therrien, and as the mommy of two adorable (well, most of the time) little girls, I pride myself in being a cool mum.

I never miss a chance to break a toe playing soccer or kickboxing, and never buy the same toothpaste twice (no, I'm not a toothpaste tester, I just hate routine). I have worked as a communication and makerting specialist in book publishing, public relations, and videogames. I like being surrounded with happy people who make me happy. I currently live in one of the happiest city in the world: Montreal, Canada.

Why did I start Belly Boom?

When I became pregnant with my second daughter, I thought: This is the last time I'm going to have a baby, so let's make it fun! I was living in Lyon, France at the time, and I started searching for fun shirts to showcase my new barbamama shape. Result : Nada, rien, niet, nothing! To my great despair, I couldn't find any in maternity stores. I had no time to lose, so I decided to design two myself.

When I started wearing my t-shirts, something strange happened; in big cities where people rarely talk to strangers, people were smiling and stopping me on the street to know where they could buy these shirts. The reactions were so overwhelmingly positive that I decided to give it a go and create fun and happy teeshirts for every mom-to-be!
